Dr Stephen Riady is the Executive Chairman of OUE Limited, one of the leading real estate developers in Singapore listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange. OUE Limited owns a portfolio of prime assets across Singapore, Asia and the United States and is the sponsor of OUE Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and OUE Commercial REIT.

Dr Riady is also the Chairman and Executive Director of Lippo Limited, Lippo China Resources Limited and Hongkong Chinese Limited, all of which are listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Dr Riady is also an Executive Director of Auric Pacific Group Limited, a Singapore-based integrated food distribution and services company. Dr Riady also serves as a Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director of Singapore-listed OUE Lippo Healthcare and Healthway Medical Corporation. OUE Lippo Healthcare owns a portfolio of healthcare assets across the region, primarily in China and Japan, while Healthway Medical Corporation is the largest primary care operator in Singapore with a network of primary, specialist and allied health clinics.

Dr Riady has made numerous contributions to public service. His service to society includes such civic engagements as the Founding Honorary Advisor of the University of Hong Kong Foundation for Education Development and Research, Patron and Trustee of The Incorporated Trustees of Volunteer Service Trust, Board of Trustees of The Better Hong Kong Foundation, Advisory Council of One Country, Two Systems Research Institute, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award World Fellowship and Advisory Board of Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States.

Dr Riady was also the Hong Kong Affairs Advisor from April 1995 to June 1997, appointed by the Hong Kong and Macao Office of the State Council and Xinhua News Agency, Hong Kong Branch of the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”). In addition, he is a member of the Committee to Promote Economic Co-operation between Fujian and Hong Kong, a committee established by the Provincial Government of Fujian, PRC.

Among the numerous accolades he has received include the Chevalier de L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres awarded by the French government and the Strategic Investment Entrepreneur of the Year in Ernst & Young’s annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Singapore 2007. Dr Riady is an Honorary Citizen of Shenzhen, PRC.

Dr Riady is a graduate of the University of Southern California, United States and holds a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, United States. He was conferred an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University, United Kingdom and is one of the first Honorary University Fellows installed by the Hong Kong Baptist University.
